This pic of the cabin was taken last summer. Jessie and I have been here for three years. I'll post a pic of Jesse soon. We live in eagle creek valley in southern Ohio along the Ohio river. Our place is part of the orginal family farm and the farm has been in the family since 1916.You are right there aren't any iris's around the cabin at least not yet! But that will change with time.

Thank you. We have lived on this farm for years but didn't realize just how beautiful this spot was until we started building the cabin. I guess the view is different from a hay wagon than than it is from a cabin's front porch.

Yes, gina it is. I don't have actual curtains at the windows(I made them myself and they are only five inch long valances) so I have a great view and lots of light. Great for stitching.
