This piece of tatting I did this evening...its the same pattern that I used on the first piece I tried. Today I worked out how to finish it.

Iris, you go girlfriend! You are doing far better than me - two loops and a chain inbetween. LOL. But I can't find suitable needles either.

Well, I think you are very clever to learn tatting. Whenever I have watched ladies do this, or lacemaking, or anything else that is 'too fiddly' (in my eyes) I have the greatest admiration for them!
And I've lost track Iris:was it needle or shuttle you used?
Maureen I'm using a needle. The shuttle is still giving me problems. I just can't keep my work from twisting with the shuttle. It's easier for me to get lost in a pattern using a shuttle too.
Iris, I love your tatting. I have a long way to go I'm afraid, but I'm determined to get it right this time. I've managed one circle with 3 picots up to now(smile)
